Hon. Mary Ng, Canada’s Minister for Small Business and Export Promotion will inaugurate Canada India Foundation’s first annual Women Entrepreneurs’ Conference and Workshop on Wednesday 22 May 2019 at Brampton’s Pearson Convention Centre.

The conference is supported by Shirin Mandani, CEO of GrantX Inc, which provides services for resource and organization development to many charities and not-for-profit across North America, and by Artists and Artisans Development and Network (AADN).
CIF Women Entrepreneurs’ Conference will create a friendly, non-judgmental platform for women entrepreneurs, both established and starting, to understand the ecosystem of women enterprise and avail of the opportunities available through official agencies and through the shared experiences. The purpose of the conference is to provide guidance to businesses owned and operated by visible minority women to benefit from the path-breaking policy announcements of the federal government to promote enterprise by women.
The conference will be a two-day event; it will be for all women entrepreneurs with special focus on minority-owned businesses. It will include speakers from the Ministry of Small Business and Export Promotion and agencies such as Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), Export Development Canada (EDC).
