Jae Moon is a research-driven PhD student with a passion for writing. His ability to write effective, concise, and logical proposals have won him four major research grants. Furthermore, his seamless conveyance of scientific logic in his PhD proposal has earned him continuous praise from his supervisor and committee. He is currently doing his PhD in biomedical engineering. Specifically, he is developing speech-rehabilitating brain-computer interfaces, the intersection of computer science, engineering, and neuroscience. Jae has an extensive background in life sciences and neuroscience, as well as in engineering. But above all, he loves to broaden his horizon in multidisciplinary fields as he is a quick learner.
As a grant writer, Jae brings a highly intensive, detail-driven research review methodology to his writing. This means that he is highly organized, methodical, and argumentative. He believes that writing without a voice and logic is not writing at all. His high attention to detail also fuels his analytical capabilities.
